TOURIST INFORMATION ABOUT POZZALLO

Pozzallo is the only town in the south-eastern Sicily to be totally surrounded by the sea and is the second sunniest town in Italy, particularly famous for the beautiful sea, with the title of Blue Flag since 2002, and the wide, golden sand beaches. The town of Pozzallo has four important benefits that can be synthesized: 1) a terrace overlooking on the Mediterranean Sea, 2) excellent tourist services with a guarantee of 12 months per year, 3) strategic geographic position, it is in the middle of the provinces Ragusa and Syracuse, in the heart of south-eastern Sicily, allowing you to reach all the tourist attractions in the south east of Sicily in a few minutes by car, 4) climate is sunny with difference in degrees centigrade from 2 to 5 degrees compared to neighbouring countries, cool in summer and the highest temperature in sicily in winter. The country has 16 000 citizens, The town is well maintained, full of squares, restaurants, bars and shops. The commercial and tourist harbour can enjoy daily excursions to the island of Malta, a distance of 15 km from the motorway gate of eastern Sicily.
