The Raganzino beach is a bit ’smaller but has the advantage of being almost always calm like a lake even on windy days.
The Pietre Nere Promenade is Pozzallo’s greatest tourist attraction day and at night. During the day the beach is a favorite for its facilities, not only for swimming, but also for tennis and beach volleyball tournaments. In the evenings the seafront becomes a favorite haunt of both tourists and locals. Attractions include events held at the amphitheater of nature, music and dancing, street artists, children’s play areas, pubs and bars. Also the Pietre Nere Promenade is logistically central as it borders Memorial Square and the Corso Vittorio Veneto which is practically the city center.
The Raganzino Waterfront promenade is the second of Pozzallo. It begins at the end of the Corso Vittorio Veneto and ends at the foot of the Port of Pozzallo. The sea along the beach promenade is almost always calm even when there are strong winds from the west. The port of Pozzallo shelters the sea from the west wind. This type of beach is ideal especially for children because the waters are extremely calm and the bottom sandy.
Kilometers of sandy beach being at the port of Pozzallo and end in Santa Maria del Focallo, the seaside resort of Ispica. All in all, there is about 15 kilometers of fine golden sand with some very impressive cliffs. There are spots ideal for fishing and boating.
