Holiday apartment Pozzallo in Ragusa Area in Pozzallo Town - South sicily

We spent 10 wonderful days in Villa Sikelia. It was one of the most relaxing places we've stayed in since giving up on impersonal and no so comfortable hotels. We could see the sea from our sitting room windows and the apartment was comfortable as well as being well equiped. I had many long walks along the beach enjoying the sea air in an uncrowded space. Pozzallo is an excellent base to explore the southeast of Sicily. We did day trips to Ragusa, Noto, Modica and Siracusa as well as a whirlwind jaunt to Malta. Each time we returned to our quarters it felt like coming home being greeted by Saro's two very gentle and friendly dogs. The spacious grounds were a real treat that one doesn't often find in Italy. Saro made us feel very welcome and gave us helpful information. I would recommend this place to the traveler who wants an unique and authentic experience of Sicily. You definitely will need a car to get to the many sites of interest.

Wonderful location near good walking beach, short distance from Pozzallo. Fully & comfortably furnished, very safe, private gated property. Owner extremely responsive & helpful, even gave free upgrade due to availability during off season.

Очень уютный дом, красивый двор и дружественная атмосфера хозяев. Несмотря на то, что дом не на самом берегу, пройтись до моря 5 мин вовсе не напрягало. Мило и элегантно. Единственный минус- иногда громко лаяли собаки, но, думаю, с такими хозяевами можно договориться. Очень милые люди. Море просто прелесть, очень мелкий песок, мы с детьми постоянно строили замки. Туристов уже не было вообще- как на необитаемом острове. Но уже было не жарко, купались, но хотелось больше солнца. В общем, если взять напрокат машину и исследовать окрестности, как мы, оч даже здорово.

We stayed at this lovely appartment for 2 weeks from mid to the end of September. It is right on the hills overlooking the sea. I was worried a little about the weather beacuse it was a bit late in the season, I thought. At arrival Saro and his family made us feel very welcome. They are very relaxed people which is want you want if you are looking for relaxation. I love the sun as we do not have enough of it in the UK. The sun & the sea water were both lovely and very hot, Sicily never lets you down, I\'m half sicilian myself. The sandy beach which is only a little stroll down the road is really nice and not many people around. The appartment is really confortable with air conditioning, an absolute must!It really very spacious with everythink you need and a washing machine with helps. Greatly located for Noto, Modica and the beach near Isola delle Correnti, some great sunsets, just 25 mins away towards Pachino. Avoid the centre if you can it is like a maize. The is a great fish restaurant on the beach near the house, a little romantic but modern with very good service, were you can really enjioy fresh fish, the pasta with shellfish is a must and portions are quite large. The local bread is gorgeous and the yellow melons and local cheeses are to die for! In Modica the Antique Chocolate Patisserie just off the main road is just a real experience! Siracusa is great for shopping with fashion good shops and an incredible food market at excellent prices. We really enjoyed our stay and Saro & his family are great hosts. We hoping to get back again next year again.

It was a very pleasent stay, in this 2nd floor apartment, nice and very friendly people, vacation with a personal touch, we 've loved it! Nice garden, quiet and spacious, it is kind of exclusive, it feels like you have your own (part) of a private villa, with a superb beach very near by!
