Holiday Flat in Sicily, Dolphin 1 - Ragusa Area - Pozzallo

The best time to visit Sicily is , they say May, but you could get caught with the weather, but who cares, when your staying in a fabulous apartment, with everything that you need. Great bedroom, very large living room & seperate kitchen & an enormous balcony. Saro the owner is briliant & will do whatever he can to make your stay as pleaseant as possible

For us it was the first time visiting Sicily so we had no idea of locations or even city to spend our hoilday in. We chose Pozzallo and the Dolphin 1 Flat and now after a 2 weeks vacation and 2500 km around the whole SE of Sicily I can say it was the perfect city and the perfect apartment for a vacation! I totally recommend the Dolphin 1 - it is huge and it's got a huge terrace with seaview, half sunny in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. The apartment has everything one might need, including for cooking, and Saro was a fantastic host for us helping instantly whenever we needed anything. Totally recommend it!

The apartment is clean and very spacious with an ideal location. Pozzallo is a excellent little town with plenty of good restaurants and a decent beach. I would also recommend hiring a car to access more of the beautiful but less accessible parts of the South east corner of the island.

My partner and I didn't know much about Sicily before we came on this holiday, but we were very happy that we chose to stay in this apartment in Pozzallo. The town is lively but not rowdy in the evenings; it seemed to be mostly couples out for dinner, ice-cream and coffee etc. There are plenty of good, inexpensive restaurants in the town so you don't need to worry about choice in eating out. If you fancy cooking for yourself one or two nights (the apartment is very well equipped to do so) there are also several fishmongers in the town. The apartment itself is well-equipped and very spacious with a huge living area and outdoor terrace. There's a decent beach just 50m walk away or some really beautiful more remote beaches just a few km to the East along the costal road, including some ideal spots for wind/kitesurfing. The agent for Case Sicule (through whom we booked the apartment) speaks English and was very helpful throughout our stay. John

We love to spend our winter holidays in Pozzallo. We used this apartment for the 2nd time and we find it very well located, perfectly equipped. The lovely terrace is perfect for taking your winterly vitamin D3 shots. Additionally the offseason time gives you a chance to enjoy Sicily peacefully and without any crowds. The owner is extremely helpful and tries to fulfill all your needs. We plan to come again next year.
